Coming from a research background, I was looking for a setup which allowed me space to ideate and experiment and at the same time provide an idea realization platform to balance research and engineering in a true sense. At Agiliad, I am able to do that and also lead that process.

I enjoy sharing core domain concepts in varied areas like medical imaging, AI, computer graphics, with talented engineers at Agiliad. It has been wonderful experience to be part of teams to create some of the most innovative solutions in the space of surgical navigation, endoscopy, and various radiology modalities (CT, MRI, Ultrasound, X-ray). Traditional image processing to modern AI approaches for different applied problems is another set of responsibilities I continue to enjoy with deep involvement.

I am passionate about technology and every challenge is a new opportunity for me. In the past 8 years with Agiliad, I have had numerous opportunities to work on technical challenges and complex projects and have gained significant expertise in product development on medical devices and product platforms. Also got a chance to closely work with customer at onsite (Japan) for hands-on on actual devices for better product understanding, design discussions and discussing the further plans for feature development.  This has been a great experience.

The best thing I like about working here is the open culture. The leadership is open to discuss your concerns or issues and there is transparency at every level. 20 years into the technology workspace and having worked with some of the best organizations, I embraced motherhood and was on a break thrice to be a part of different phases of both my daughter’s life. These breaks have been overwhelming to a point where I felt that I didn’t want to go back to work anymore. Having said that, on the contrary the techie in me never wanted to give up and finally, I made up my mind to go back to work again. After a 2-year break – Agiliad gave me an opportunity to get back to what I was passionate about.

I started my career with Agiliad as a fresher about 7 years ago and have witnessed and been part of the phenomenal transformational journey. I am a Biomedical Engineering professional with experience in surgical navigation, In Vitro Diagnostics, Drug Infusion Devices. I have been lucky to have got an opportunity to work on surgical navigation with Agiliad. Over the years of my experience here I have gained in depth knowledge on the domain side. The smaller contributions towards the Research and Development projects that we worked on, helped us bag a couple of bigger projects – this certainly demonstrates the impact of the work that happens here and I am glad that I was in some way able to contribute to it.

These 7 years with Agiliad have been truly exhilarating. I have polished my technical and people management skills. The learning curve continues to grow for me, not a single day has passed without me learning a new thing. I have been fortunate enough to work with technically sound people. My post maternity experience has been inordinate – It is pretty challenging to manage work with a newborn, but the amount of understanding, support and care received have been invaluable.

I joined Agiliad few months back as a Engineering Trainee. On my joining day I was really anxious as it was my first day in the corporate world but when I went through the induction I knew I was in the right place. The passion, the knowledge flow, the kind of work that we see here is inspiring and motivates us to learn and do our best everyday. We have had a thoroughly carved training program and I am already part of a live project team. Lots to learn and grow but with infinite opportunities here I’m sure I have made a perfect start to my career.
